A specialist in Clinical Haematology, she works with Istituto Auxologico Italiano, San Luca Hospital, where, together with the cardiology team, she runs the anticoagulation clinic for patients with atrial fibrillation and valve replacement.

Her work covers the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disease, the use of oral anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs, and the diagnosis of haematological malignancies such as myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative neoplasms. She also treats anaemia and monoclonal gammopathies.
