A specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he was a consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, with a specialist post in reconstructive surgery for older cancer patients.

He works mainly in reconstructive surgery after removal of skin, breast and gynaecological cancers, post-traumatic reconstruction of the face and limbs, hand surgery, diabetic foot and complex wounds.

He also trained at New York University and at university centres in Mexico and Brazil. He has authored more than 150 scientific publications and is a member of Italian and international scientific societies, including SICPRE and ASPS.
