A neurologist who specialised in Neurology at the University of Siena, she headed the Neurology Unit for Multi-specialty Conditions at ASST Fatebenefratelli-Sacco, Fatebenefratelli Hospital, until September 2026.

She trained at the 1st Neurology Division of the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, where she began working on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She also has experience in emergency neurology and in ward and outpatient care.

She is a member of the Italian Society of Neurology and the Italian Society of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, and sits on the scientific committee of the LIMPE Foundation for Parkinson’s disease.
